DISCRETIONARY GRANT PROGRAM

Eligible Applicants:501(c)(3) nonprofit, charitable organizations located in and serving communities within the 40 counties of Middle Tennessee. The Foundation is particularly interested in transformation, collaboration, program impact, and making grants that enhance successful existing programs rather than new nonprofits and which can use a modest amount of funding to create enhanced outcomes.

TURNER FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

Eligible Applicants: Applicants must be children of employees or full-time or part-time employees of Dollar General with at least one year of service to the company.  Eligible applicants may choose any area of study; coursework does not have to be related to the person’s job.  Employees may enroll in a community college or vocational school, or attend a four-year college or university, attend Adult Basic Education courses or GED classes. These choices will reflect the personal development goals of the applicants.
